It has been a wild month! Ian is trying to repeat everything you say and do. He had his first haircut and his first popsicle. His new hobbies include sweeping, dusting, and trying to jump off of things! Here are a few pictures of what he has been up to lately.

Memorial Day Weekend
We had such a fun Memorial Day weekend. Frank's brother was here from Houston, so we spent a lot of time in Madison. The guys did some fishing, and then we took Ian to the pool Monday at Lake Caroline before we left. He had a great time! He was pretty happy all weekend, thank goodness. Here are a few pictures of our activities.
This was when he first got in the pool. It didn't take him long to get wound up.
He loved splashing in the water.....
and splashing some more......
and splashing some more! He was so funny.
Look how happy!
His Daddy took him down the slide at the play area before we left the pool.
I think he liked that too!
Oh yeah!
Here are some of the fish from the guys' catch Monday morning.
Harlan brought his cat with him, and Ian searched for him the whole time we were there. He kept yelling "kitty cat" and laying down to look under the bed where the cat hides. Poor kitty - but at least it gave Brittany (the dog) a break.
These are a few older pictures. It has been a while since I posted, and I wanted to make sure to get these in.
Frank took these after church one Sunday while Ian was running around our back yard.
I just love this one. I don't have a clue what he was looking at - maybe admiring the sky?

Happy Easter
Happy Easter! The Easter bunny did come to Durant. And he left Ian too much candy! We had a great Easter weekend. We got to visit with lots of family, had beautiful weather, and hunted a couple dozen eggs! This time of year makes you reflect on your blessings - and we have been blessed so richly. Ian makes everything have so much more meaning. He really had fun hunting eggs - and everything else in the yard he could get his hands on. Needless to say, we had to come home and give him a bath when we got finished playing outside. Here are a few pictures from this weekend.
Ian got his picture taken with the Easter bunny for the first time. Believe it or not, but, he didn't cry! He loved the bunny!
Here he is getting into his basket of goodies. He was trying to eat them before I had time to open them!
Ian looked so cute in his Easter outfit. I ordered it from a friend who sells children's clothes. Thanks, Chanda.
Here is our little family on Easter morning.
My two favorite fellows! Aren't they handsome?
And here is the proud Mommy with a happy little man.
Ian was Mr. Photogenic this Sunday morning!
The dog was coming up close to him so he was getting quite excited.
And the hunt is on.....
He finally figured out that he was supposed to put the eggs in the basket when he picked them up.
He was very interested in everything on the ground! He even taste tested some leaves.
Tossing another egg in the basket.
I thought this was cute. He found his reflection in the gazing ball in Nanny's front yard.
